FavAMP Streaming Media Platform
It has been a productive stretch for the FavAMP development team. This update covers a wave of enhancements that touch the visualizer engine, playback navigation, interface consistency, and overall platform quality. Here is what has landed. Don’t forget to bring your own keys to get the full FavAMP experience.
Vibe Terminal — Visualizer Overhaul

The Vibe Terminal received the most attention this cycle. The visualizer toolbar has been rebuilt from the ground up to behave correctly on every screen size, from compact mobile layouts to widescreen desktop displays.
The Browse Presets button now only appears when the Milkdrop scene is active, keeping the interface clean when it is not relevant. When Milkdrop is first selected, the button performs a subtle attention blink so new users notice it immediately.
The auto-advance speed selector has been upgraded from a tap-to-cycle button into a proper floating menu, consistent with the rest of the FavAMP interface. The menu positions itself intelligently to stay fully on screen whether you are in windowed or fullscreen mode.
Disabled button states across the toolbar are now unified. Preset navigation controls such as Previous, Shuffle, and Next are clearly greyed out when a non-Milkdrop scene is active, since those controls only apply to Milkdrop presets. The speed label button no longer causes layout shift when auto-advance is toggled — the chevron icon holds its space invisibly rather than appearing and disappearing.
Glow colors throughout the toolbar are now fully derived from the active theme color. Previously, CHILL mode showed a hardcoded sky-blue glow and EXPLODE mode showed an orange glow regardless of your chosen theme. All mode pills now emit the same theme-matched glow, while their text and background retain their distinct identities so modes remain visually distinguishable.
The toolbar background has been unified with the application header, removing the jarring contrast that made the bottom control strip feel disconnected from the rest of the shell.
Unified Playback Navigation
The Previous and Next buttons on the player bar are now fully operational across all content types.
The Next button advances through whatever list is currently loaded — the filtered station grid, a podcast episode list, an audiobook chapter sequence, a concert tracklist, or any other queue. It respects your active playback mode, so Shuffle picks a random item, Repeat All wraps around, and Repeat One replays the current track.
The Previous button has been redesigned as a true back button. It maintains a cross-content-type playback history stack. Press it once and you return to the last thing you were listening to, regardless of whether that was a radio station, a podcast episode, an audiobook chapter, or an archive track. The history persists up to twenty items deep and restores the full queue context from when that item was playing.
Button availability is now accurate. Next is disabled when you are genuinely at the end of a list with no looping active. Previous is disabled when there is no history to go back to. Both buttons no longer give the false impression of being available when they would do nothing.
When Next or Previous navigation moves to a new station in the grid, the grid automatically scrolls to bring that card into view and the active indicator highlights it. This makes it easy to see exactly where you are in a list at all times.
Advertising Removed
All third-party advertising infrastructure has been removed from FavAMP. The Adsterra ad network integration, including all banner placements, ad card grid slots, and associated script injection, has been stripped from the codebase. The grid layout has been adjusted to use the reclaimed space cleanly. FavAMP will pursue advertising again in the future through a more curated partnership, with Google Ads as the intended direction once eligibility requirements are met.
Dynamic Sponsor Card
The Support FavAMP card in the station grid now displays a dynamic background image sourced from Pexels rather than a static image. The image is refreshed from a curated query pool and cached locally so it loads instantly on repeat visits. This gives the card a living, editorial feel that changes between sessions.
Resume Prompt Fix
The resume last session prompt that appears on page reload was clipping off both edges of the screen on narrow mobile devices. The layout now uses viewport-relative margins on mobile so the prompt is always fully contained within the screen, while desktop users continue to see it centered as before.
Typography Consistency
The status indicator bubbles in the application header — showing grid stability, active source, codec, neural activity state, and satellite status — have been normalized to a single consistent typographic style. All five bubbles now share the same font size, weight, color, and tracking. A code comment locks this styling to prevent accidental drift in future updates.
What Is Next
The team is continuing to improve platform stability and feature completeness before pursuing monetization. Upcoming focus areas include social features, deeper personalization, and performance work on initial load time. Follow along as FavAMP continues to grow.
